Expanding Your Audience to Get More…

For many people, speaking in front of a large room is really scary.  As the saying goes, many people would prefer to be IN the coffin instead of giving the eulogy!

But, you do not need to dread speaking in front of rooms or groups of people when you have a heart-centered focus on what you do which is exactly what my guest on this show, Nikól Rogers, and I discussed.

Pulling on Nikól’s experiences as an actress, Nikól realized that if you put aside those negative emotions and concerns, you end up coming off as more believable and approachable.  As a result, Nikól created the ZenRed Method to help entrepreneurs be more comfortable while speaking.

About Nikól : Nikól Rogers, PCC, WPCC, is an empowerment coach, writer, and speaker who founded The ZenRed Method in 2015 to teach Influencers, professional artists, speakers, and presenters how to be Fearless and embody a Powerful Presence, connect deeply with their audience and stand out from the crowd. As a result, her clients create free of stress in their projects and feel confident and secure in their work. Her clients have published books, sold out events and concerts, created Solo shows, spoken on large stages, and created award-winning businesses that feed and nourish them.

00:00:02.000 –> 00:00:12.000
Hello and welcome to another episode of MOJO: The Meaning of Life and Business. Today we’re going to be talking about.

00:00:12.000 –> 00:00:17.000
How do you get out there in front of a group? How do you expand your reach?

00:00:17.000 –> 00:00:26.000
How are you comfortable when you’re out in a group there’s a famous joke, although it’s really not so much a joke.

00:00:26.000 –> 00:00:34.000
But people would rather be in the coffin than giving the eulogy at a funeral, and when you’re in front of a large group.

00:00:34.000 –> 00:00:47.000
Very often people are thinking, Oh, God, I can’t stand this and then, there are those unusual folks myself, and my guest included, who love being in the position.

00:00:47.000 –> 00:00:52.000
But it’s really how do we get out there? How are we expanding our audio.

00:00:52.000 –> 00:01:06.000
How are we expanding the people that we’re speaking with as hopefully, remember that’s going to be the keyword here is helping and moving forward from there, and I have a really incredible guest with me today, who and you’ll see

00:01:06.000 –> 00:01:11.000
why she’s so incredible in just a few moments before I bring her in.

00:01:11.000 –> 00:01:29.000
Let me tell you a little bit about her. Nikól Rogers is an empowerment coach, writer, and speaker who founded the ZenRed Method in 2015 to teach professional artists, speakers, and presenters how to be fearless

00:01:29.000 –> 00:01:35.000
and embody a powerful presence, connect deeply with their audience, and stand out from the crowd.

00:01:35.000 –> 00:01:43.000
As a result, her clients create free of stress in their projects, and feel confident and secure in their work.

00:01:43.000 –> 00:01:55.000
Her clients have published books, so that events in concerts created solo shows, spoken on large stages and create a award, winning businesses that feed a nourish them.

00:01:55.000 –> 00:02:09.000
Nikól. Wow! All of that is absolutely incredible and I know that our listeners are going to be getting so much value just from a couple of the nuggets, if not more, that we’re going to be dropping today so welcome to the show and thank you

00:02:09.000 –> 00:02:19.000
for being here. Thank you so much for having me on it’s an honor to be here absolutely.

00:02:19.000 –> 00:02:31.000
Take a deep dive really quickly. and you and I have spoken a couple of times now before we recorded this show, and we share a lot of interests.

00:02:31.000 –> 00:02:42.000
And certain areas from nature to good old Disney Princesses but that’s a whole other story, and other areas.

00:02:42.000 –> 00:02:57.000
But having that acting experience that you had allowed you to get into the mindset to help all of these entrepreneurs, influencers, artists really figure out where they’re going.

00:02:57.000 –> 00:03:03.000
I guess the question is, if we’re looking at it in that perspective right?

00:03:03.000 –> 00:03:06.000
Even as an actor. A lot of actors have trouble in the beginning.

00:03:06.000 –> 00:03:18.000
What was your trick or your life hack, if you will, that allowed you to really get into that position that set you up for where you are now.

00:03:18.000 –> 00:03:34.000
Yes, thank you. So I love this idea of my time on stage as a performer, and my professional career, which is 20 years being actually the door to where I am today, because it really was.

00:03:34.000 –> 00:03:49.000
And I think that your audience can relate to this because the truth was that I had nerves on stage, and it wasn’t what you would think I mean. My mother said I came out of the womb like I wouldn’t come

00:03:49.000 –> 00:04:01.000
out of the room till the lighting was right. When I was a toddler I used to stand up on a bucket in front of the Tv and give speeches, so there was a desire to be seen.

00:04:01.000 –> 00:04:07.000
But the problem was that it was a desire to only be seen a certain way.

00:04:07.000 –> 00:04:10.000
So if I didn’t have it together I didn’t want to be seen.

00:04:10.000 –> 00:04:17.000
If I wasn’t perfect I didn’t want to be seen if I wasn’t singing the right way if I wasn’t dancing the right way.

00:04:17.000 –> 00:04:33.000
You see, it was like there were all these conditions. And so what happened for me was while there was this enormous love to be out on the stage, and love to share the arts and to do things that were natural for me like the

00:04:33.000 –> 00:04:37.000
singing and the dancing and and the speaking, and all that stuff.

00:04:37.000 –> 00:04:41.000
There was this other part that was just so present that I struggled with.

00:04:41.000 –> 00:04:46.000
And so, because of that, I hit a ceiling in my career.

00:04:46.000 –> 00:04:50.000
Like every other musical theater, person I came to New York to be on Broadway.

00:04:50.000 –> 00:04:58.000
That’s the dream right except what happened was I kept hitting up against a No.

00:04:58.000 –> 00:05:03.000
And, with the exception of 2 Broadway shows that closed before I would have joined them when I would go on for that big moment.

00:05:03.000 –> 00:05:08.000
Here it is – here’s your chance to sing the song, dance the dance, you know.

00:05:08.000 –> 00:05:15.000
Here’s gonna be your Broadway contract. I would doubt myself and I would doubt my voice.

00:05:15.000 –> 00:05:18.000
And so that critic, some people might think of it like an inner critic.

00:05:18.000 –> 00:05:27.000
They might think of it as like I don’t know a patriarchal voice, or something was winning.

00:05:27.000 –> 00:05:34.000
It was winning. It was winning over this love of just wanting to share and be with the audience.

00:05:34.000 –> 00:05:46.000
And so what happened was I went through this year, where everything in my life fell apart, and it began with a divorce. Then I was robbed.

00:05:46.000 –> 00:05:53.000
I lost a dear friend to a heart attack, and I was in 2 car accidents, and so pretty much everything of my life.

00:05:53.000 –> 00:05:58.000
I watched burned to the ground in a very quick amount of time.

00:05:58.000 –> 00:06:08.000
And so what happened in that was, I finally asked for help, because this this call conflict within me around how to be on stage.

00:06:08.000 –> 00:06:17.000
Now there was an opportunity to heal that to integrate that.

00:06:17.000 –> 00:06:24.000
And so you know it was obvious that the way i’d been living my life wasn’t working right my biggest dream wasn’t coming true.

00:06:24.000 –> 00:06:34.000
Now I was losing family I was losing all my home, all of these things, and so I got on my knees and asked for help, and it came in all these, ways.

00:06:34.000 –> 00:06:47.000
And I found Buddhism to be amazing because Buddhism had this basic teaching, it has this basic teaching, which is that you are holding complete.

00:06:47.000 –> 00:06:54.000
Now this was radical for me, because I had been living my life in this way of well, I’m only whole incomplete.

00:06:54.000 –> 00:06:56.000
If I sing the right thing, if I dance the right way.

00:06:56.000 –> 00:07:08.000
If I look, you know, if my hair is in place and all this stuff like No, no, no, no matter what’s happened to you, no matter what you’ve experienced, you are whole and complete.

00:07:08.000 –> 00:07:14.000
And it was like this bomb to be like wait a minute if that’s true.

00:07:14.000 –> 00:07:19.000
Then I can heal from all of this, and I can create a new life.

00:07:19.000 –> 00:07:34.000
And so the real turning point for the work I do, and and the the conflict no longer being present, was, I went to this healing circle and I.

00:07:34.000 –> 00:07:39.000
It was healing from all kinds of things. I was healing from my heart.

00:07:39.000 –> 00:07:48.000
My heartbreak. The people there were healing from the answer, from anxiety, from chronic pain.

00:07:48.000 –> 00:08:01.000
You know anything that they it felt like. really intense but i’d never been to a support group before, and they’re passing the mic around to introduce themselves, and I was, like oh, God i’m so embarrassed you know

00:08:01.000 –> 00:08:13.000
So they passed the mic to me and they I decided to do something I’ve never done publicly, which was to be completely honest. and so I bawled my eyes out, shared with them.

00:08:13.000 –> 00:08:22.000
Everything that was happening. And then something amazing happened, which was that they came closer, and I found that each person after me.

00:08:22.000 –> 00:08:35.000
It seemed to create this chain of vulnerability and it was like people were softening, and I was like, Oh, wow! I didn’t I wasn’t rejected didn’t have the effect I thought it would and afterwards

00:08:35.000 –> 00:08:45.000
the teacher said to me: That was really courageous. What you did and it was like, is this: what courages you know?

00:08:45.000 –> 00:08:51.000
So that moment at the healing circle, really planted the seed for the work I do now.

00:08:51.000 –> 00:08:59.000
Powerful presence and ended up radically transforming my career. I had a total resurgence in my career after that.

00:08:59.000 –> 00:09:03.000
Directors and choreographers that had never paid attention to me we’re suddenly paying attention.

00:09:03.000 –> 00:09:15.000
This is after 19 years in the business so we’re like no small thing, and I just was like, oh, my God, this is because i’m okay with me.

00:09:15.000 –> 00:09:21.000
I’m okay to share where I am in this moment as opposed to before.

00:09:21.000 –> 00:09:32.000
It was always conditional, so that really planted a seed that led me to recognizing that holy Molly.

00:09:32.000 –> 00:09:46.000
I was taught this, and I want to. and recognizing I was actually okay to leave Broadway in the performing world behind, because I now had touched on this amazing tool, and I wanted to teach it to.

00:09:46.000 –> 00:09:59.000
Everyone. So I opened my business in 2,015, and I. What I watch in my clients is why I get out of bed, because I watch them reclaim their confidence, reclaim the fact that they are whole, and as soon as they do

00:09:59.000 –> 00:10:12.000
that that then goes out to their audience. that then has the impact that causes things to expand, and for them to actually get the message across that they want in the way that they want.

00:10:12.000 –> 00:10:15.000
So it ends up being this ripple effect. You know what I mean.

00:10:15.000 –> 00:10:20.000
Like they feel good. their audience feels good. Then their audience goes to someone else and feels good.

00:10:20.000 –> 00:10:31.000
I mean it’s just a beautiful domino absolutely and that really is such a beautiful story of how you got to where you are.

00:10:31.000 –> 00:10:43.000
And it’s really incredible that to be accepted as you are wars and all, as the saying goes.

00:10:43.000 –> 00:10:52.000
And okay. Now I have the witch that gave Snow White the apple with her big nose and the wart on it stuck in my head.

00:10:52.000 –> 00:10:57.000
But different story. Those Disney Fans like Nikól and I,

00:10:57.000 –> 00:11:15.000
you totally get it. But as we move forward so now you’re working with these influencers in these artists and these entrepreneurs that are trying to figure out how to build that audience, how to get in front of

00:11:15.000 –> 00:11:26.000
rooms, and understanding that perfect doesn’t have to necessarily be perfect or doesn’t you don’t have to be perfect to even get on the stage?

00:11:26.000 –> 00:11:33.000
As I believe that zig ziggler said you don’t have to be great to get started, but you have to start to be great.

00:11:33.000 –> 00:11:51.000
Yes, let me ask you, though, Nikól, as you look at working with the people, give me an idea that zen red Method and the the powerful presence. program.

00:11:51.000 –> 00:11:56.000
How does that work? Where do I come in? How do people?

00:11:56.000 –> 00:12:02.000
Even start in that I mean if i’m looking at speaking, do I speak with you?

00:12:02.000 –> 00:12:13.000
Or if i’m looking at being an actor am I supposed start thinking to talk to you great questions, Thank you.

00:12:13.000 –> 00:12:21.000
So the way that it works is you can think of powerful presence in 2 phases.

00:12:21.000 –> 00:12:30.000
The first phase is coming into acceptance, of who you are now that’s a tall order, right?

00:12:30.000 –> 00:12:43.000
And but it is the ability let’s make it like really basic it’s the ability to be in your body when you’re speaking now.

00:12:43.000 –> 00:12:49.000
It doesn’t have to be such a tall order but most people. I’m sure you’ve watched a lot of speakers.

00:12:49.000 –> 00:12:55.000
You’ve been to a lot of events jennifer but you’ve seen when somebody isn’t in their body right?

00:12:55.000 –> 00:13:01.000
They’re disconnected or they’re really nervous, or they’re something else, you know.

00:13:01.000 –> 00:13:06.000
They’re not even there at all or they’re just going on road.

00:13:06.000 –> 00:13:08.000
You know they’re not making I count they’re not in their body.

00:13:08.000 –> 00:13:27.000
They’re probably all up in their head. so the first part of powerful presence is learning to be in your body, because when you are in your body, when you are breathing, when you are regulated, you create a sense of safety within yourself, that then

00:13:27.000 –> 00:13:39.000
translates to the bodies of your audience. So I call this the audience Loop, and it always begins with a person who is speaking the person that is up on the stage.

00:13:39.000 –> 00:13:53.000
So if you are in a place of being regulated and in your body and grounded, then the audience fuels that energy, and they feel like they can relax and be receptive and open.

00:13:53.000 –> 00:13:59.000
So it begins with that first. So you know the larger scope.

00:13:59.000 –> 00:14:04.000
Of course, around acceptance is a life work right that’s that’s, our life work right?

00:14:04.000 –> 00:14:22.000
That’s part of our human path on this planet, But being able to be present, being able to ground your body is something that all of my clients learn and I teach, which is, you know, as simple as a couple of simple things are where are you breathing

00:14:22.000 –> 00:14:30.000
right now. a lot of our world has caused breathing to be very high up, you know, in the chest in the throat.

00:14:30.000 –> 00:14:38.000
And so it’s like bringing some attention to the breathing Can you slowly start to bring the breath down.

00:14:38.000 –> 00:14:45.000
Maybe it starts in the throat, and then maybe you bring it to the the lungs, and then can you bring it down a little bit deeper into?

00:14:45.000 –> 00:14:50.000
You can imagine the breathing is actually happening in your belly.

00:14:50.000 –> 00:14:56.000
It can be. Where are your feet? Can you feel your feet?

00:14:56.000 –> 00:15:06.000
You know, these are like very simple things that energetically bring everything down, and again create more of an open space.

00:15:06.000 –> 00:15:18.000
So it begins with these these simple tools, which are, which are, what does it feel like for me to be in my body?

00:15:18.000 –> 00:15:22.000
Because, as the speaker as the presenter, the performer.

00:15:22.000 –> 00:15:28.000
If you are in your body and embody you’re going to be able to create an impact.

00:15:28.000 –> 00:15:38.000
So that’s the first part then the second part is being super clear about your intent.

00:15:38.000 –> 00:15:42.000
You know we can talk about like what is it you want to say?

00:15:42.000 –> 00:15:50.000
What is their desired result? like all of these kind of like tactical things, but like no really like, What is your intent with the audience meaning?

00:15:50.000 –> 00:15:58.000
Do you want to connect? Do you want to create an impact like in truth and honesty?

00:15:58.000 –> 00:16:02.000
You know I if if you’re having a really rough day maybe not.

00:16:02.000 –> 00:16:14.000
Maybe that’s a time not to give the talk or or or not to give the performance, because you actually really need to take care of yourself.

00:16:14.000 –> 00:16:29.000
But if if there is a very clear intent creative impact, then your audience feels that that’s part of the the audience loop. is that energetic good intention of I want to help empower, you.

00:16:29.000 –> 00:16:43.000
I want your life to be better, you know I want your good fortune to increase in all of these things, and so how that helps within the audience loop is that if you are coming with that clarity of speech clarity of message

00:16:43.000 –> 00:16:49.000
and clarity of intention. Again, the audience feels the good intent. Right?

00:16:49.000 –> 00:17:00.000
We can tell when somebody has our best interests at heart, and when stuff shady, then they give an energy back to you as the speaker.

00:17:00.000 –> 00:17:14.000
That feeds you So then you’re in this beautiful loop between your heart, their heart, your clear intent, their receiving their joy.

00:17:14.000 –> 00:17:31.000
You know what I mean. It just creates this so those are really the 2 phases with powerful presence, and I can totally see that working with the difference from just how I am when i’m presenting I know if i’m on stage in front

00:17:31.000 –> 00:17:48.000
of a live room I am much better that in that position to really connect with my audience, whereas on zoom it isn’t as clear, and it’s partly because it’s much harder to read body language just from what you see

00:17:48.000 –> 00:17:56.000
if you’re lucky enough to be able to actually still see the faces of those people that are in the room with you on zoom.

00:17:56.000 –> 00:18:03.000
And it really is powerful. If you think about that audience loop like you were just saying to be alright.

00:18:03.000 –> 00:18:14.000
So how can I now connect virtually too because in this world? I don’t think that we’re going to be losing the virtual connection moving forward?

00:18:14.000 –> 00:18:24.000
Yeah, I think that Covid definitely set us up that it’s here to stay and there will be virtual programs forever.

00:18:24.000 –> 00:18:32.000
Now. I know i’ve been on summits before and things along those lines which have been completely virtual even before Covid.

00:18:32.000 –> 00:18:38.000
But I never did as many virtual programs as I have in the last several years.

00:18:38.000 –> 00:18:55.000
But that’s a whole different story and i’m really looking forward Thursday night, I finally have a live event that i’m personally doing this week, as of one we’re recording this but in terms of where we

00:18:55.000 –> 00:19:10.000
go, so we know it’s the clarity of purpose and the clarity of intense and speech like you mentioned, that are really going to help us align with where we go.

00:19:10.000 –> 00:19:30.000
When people are fully in that loop that you outlined, and I love how you say the audience loop, but when they’re in that loop they really can start connecting more like you were saying and ultimately again, it is

00:19:30.000 –> 00:19:37.000
the intent of helping like we said what is our intent of being there, and I’ve been in presentations where it’s all.

00:19:37.000 –> 00:19:45.000
This is a sales. thing, and there’s absolutely nothing more and I’ve gone specifically to some presentations just to hear the people close.

00:19:45.000 –> 00:19:52.000
There’s one massive sales guy and many of you probably know exactly who he is.

00:19:52.000 –> 00:19:56.000
Is initials or Gc. without actually mentioning his name.

00:19:56.000 –> 00:20:13.000
But I went to a program that he was at, and I wanted to hear him do the clothes, just to hear the clothes, and unfortunately it was one of his surrogates that did the close not him, which was kind of disappointing putting that aside.

00:20:13.000 –> 00:20:21.000
so once. People then, are in that position that they’ve got that loop, and now they want to move on to writing books.

00:20:21.000 –> 00:20:28.000
They want to move on to even bigger things. How is the process?

00:20:28.000 –> 00:20:38.000
Hoping in terms of getting them from stage to buck and back to stage, because ultimately use the book to get you back on bigger stages.

00:20:38.000 –> 00:20:42.000
So can you just give us an idea how that might work.

00:20:42.000 –> 00:20:48.000
Yeah, I mean is this: Is this a hypothesis that we’re putting out?

00:20:48.000 –> 00:20:55.000
Is this a writer, or is this someone that has like a ghost writer, or something like that?

00:20:55.000 –> 00:21:07.000
So let’s say that it is a writer as an example, if you’re an entrepreneur, and you’re writing a book based on what you know in your particular business.

00:21:07.000 –> 00:21:15.000
So you’re not trying to be the next James Patterson or any of those kinds of writers.

00:21:15.000 –> 00:21:20.000
But you’re in the business world and you’re trying to get out there.

00:21:20.000 –> 00:21:31.000
So if I i’ll pick on people like me, as an example, as a business coach. I have several books that I’ve written before I wrote books.

00:21:31.000 –> 00:21:40.000
I was on stages. Once I wrote books, I got on bigger stages, and that was kind of the trajectory that I knew that I needed to be on.

00:21:40.000 –> 00:21:52.000
But as far as the powerful presence as far as the ZenRed method getting me on a stage having the bigger stages.

00:21:52.000 –> 00:22:02.000
Is there that kind of connection? yeah and I really appreciate you spelling out? If anyone is listening right now and thinking about taking the path you did.

00:22:02.000 –> 00:22:08.000
You’re a great example of how the book does lead to larger opportunities, and it does so.

00:22:08.000 –> 00:22:16.000
I’ll just say this, that whatever that book is be sure that it is aligned.

00:22:16.000 –> 00:22:26.000
You know what I mean that it is aligned because that that clarity and intention comes through everything right.

00:22:26.000 –> 00:22:29.000
Your website, your your marketing material. You know what I mean.

00:22:29.000 –> 00:22:43.000
So, whatever it is that or your listeners right now that are listening, that they say this is what I want to write a book on like, Just make sure that you take some time – work with a great coach, work with Jennifer, you

00:22:43.000 –> 00:22:46.000
know work with something that can help you really hash it out so that it is.

00:22:46.000 –> 00:22:56.000
It is aligned, and that you would feel excited to get up on any stage and talk about the book. You know what I mean.

00:22:56.000 –> 00:23:01.000
There’s just like, Oh, yeah, this is a total Yes, so to answer your So that was the first thing I want to say.

00:23:01.000 –> 00:23:10.000
The other thing is that now this goes to another piece that’s so important in any expansion which is relationship building.

00:23:10.000 –> 00:23:17.000
So when you think about an audience sometimes we have a tendency to think of just an audience right like we’re on a stage, they’re there.

00:23:17.000 –> 00:23:25.000
But what I teach my clients is relationship building and so Sometimes your audience is a booker.

00:23:25.000 –> 00:23:31.000
Sometimes your audience is of a fellow entrepreneur who’s going to help promote your book.

00:23:31.000 –> 00:23:44.000
You know you start to see it as your team so if you want to be expanding your message, your products, your services, your books, your ability to be booked in larger places.

00:23:44.000 –> 00:23:52.000
Then that’s about building the relationships that help you to expand. We don’t get anywhere on our own.

00:23:52.000 –> 00:24:08.000
And this was a huge thing that I learned when I when everything fell apart in my life was, I realized how I was so afraid to be seen as weak, because the truth is like for 4 years, my life was a mess you know my ex was in the business.

00:24:08.000 –> 00:24:24.000
We were kind of held up as look at you you’re making it happen. you know, infidelity is really big in in the arts, and everybody just thought we had a perfect marriage, and we didn’t far far from it but I was so

00:24:24.000 –> 00:24:31.000
afraid to even like talk to a therapist, even talk to my friends and my family, because they would know.

00:24:31.000 –> 00:24:40.000
So when everything fell apart, and it was like well there’s no running from this, and I realized that actually being vulnerable was powerful.

00:24:40.000 –> 00:24:50.000
Then it really changed. Oh, I I will thrive and grow with support, and so I will be.

00:24:50.000 –> 00:24:57.000
I mean the only way that my business has expanded from local to global is because of the team around me.

00:24:57.000 –> 00:25:06.000
I mean i’m gonna be launching a book next year and I I it’s 100% of team effort, you know.

00:25:06.000 –> 00:25:09.000
I I look at like something like the book trailer which is like this.

00:25:09.000 –> 00:25:12.000
It’s like a movie trailer it’s so fricking good.

00:25:12.000 –> 00:25:22.000
But it’s a combination of the editor the videographer, the composer, the graphic animator.

00:25:22.000 –> 00:25:40.000
You know it’s all of us came together my business coach all of us came together, and we swirled all of our stuff together, and created this beautiful thing. and so to be able to expand to that next level it’s the same thing

00:25:40.000 –> 00:25:48.000
you. you wanna make sure that you have the right support healthy relationships that are excited about you and really are going to go to that for you.

00:25:48.000 –> 00:26:02.000
They’re going to promote and nurture your work and help introduce you to people introduce you to the right connections that allow you to expand

00:26:02.000 –> 00:26:09.000
And that’s exactly the point Everything is a team right We don’t operate in a silo or in a vacuum.

00:26:09.000 –> 00:26:22.000
There’s people around us all the time and you know just going back to Hillary Clinton when she said it takes a village.

00:26:22.000 –> 00:26:36.000
It doesn’t only take a village to raise children it takes a village for everything that we do so much that is out there that we’re constantly relying on other people right if you think i’m an

00:26:36.000 –> 00:26:40.000
entrepreneur and i’m going to get big just because of who I am.

00:26:40.000 –> 00:26:46.000
That’s not true. It is so your team right and your clients are part of that team.

00:26:46.000 –> 00:26:51.000
If you don’t have them there is no business and so it’s.

00:26:51.000 –> 00:27:07.000
Still, everything comes down to that team and is really important. and I love how you mentioned that that it was the composer and the your coach, and the animator and the editor, and all of the people that are behind you and pushing

00:27:07.000 –> 00:27:10.000
you to finish the book, to get it out, to get it out.

00:27:10.000 –> 00:27:17.000
There and it’s like birthing another being if you will it’s just a little bit different.

00:27:17.000 –> 00:27:25.000
But it’s still putting a piece of you out there, and you become even more vulnerable when that goes out.

00:27:25.000 –> 00:27:29.000
When I put my first book out, I had no idea how I was gonna do.

00:27:29.000 –> 00:27:46.000
I didn’t know where it was gonna land me I just knew this is what I wanted, and it becomes part of that important piece of also visualizing what it is that you really want and sometimes that’s equally as important as your presence I

00:27:46.000 –> 00:27:55.000
think, because going in, and I just had this conversation. and physical therapy was one of the other patients.

00:27:55.000 –> 00:28:08.000
I said, you have to visualize the outcome you want when you’re with the doctor, because she was afraid of meeting surgery, and I said, you have to visualize the outcome. you want is it going to be perfect no If you

00:28:08.000 –> 00:28:13.000
visualize is the opposite. there’s a way of self-filling prophecy.

00:28:13.000 –> 00:28:26.000
Coming true, too. and so it becomes. That much more important that is really having that clarity on who you are how you’re working with people and your desire.

00:28:26.000 –> 00:28:39.000
But also it’s not just your desire for today. it’s your desire for tomorrow, next week, next month next year, and the next 10 or more years that you’re going to be doing what it is you’re doing like you said when you

00:28:39.000 –> 00:28:53.000
came to New York your desire was to be on board Why, and sometimes it works, and sometimes you’re that’s struggling actor and Sardis trying to find the director.

00:28:53.000 –> 00:29:01.000
Whoever you know, to really connect with you But there’s a lot there, though, that we look at Nikól.

00:29:01.000 –> 00:29:10.000
I love, though whole conversation, and I know that people that are listening are really getting a tremendous amount out of this, though.

00:29:10.000 –> 00:29:21.000
So my question to you is now that we’ve given them the we’ve given them the reason to want to reach out.

00:29:21.000 –> 00:29:27.000
How do they find out more about you? Thank you for that. So I’m on Instagram

00:29:27.000 –> 00:29:34.000
That’s probably the the platform that i’m spending the most time on these days, and that’s Nikól_Rogers.

00:29:34.000 –> 00:29:38.000
I was so so cool for me to see, there was another Nikól.

00:29:38.000 –> 00:29:44.000
Roger is because my name is spelled so crazy that I get excited when I see other nicole’s. anyway.

00:29:44.000 –> 00:29:50.000
So it’s Nikól, but Nikól_Rogers on Instagram.

00:29:50.000 –> 00:29:58.000
Please come over. DM me, you know. Say, hey, I heard you on the podcast. and any questions that you have about this, Please let me know also.

00:29:58.000 –> 00:30:07.000
My website is NikólRogers.com, and there is a page on there that has an outline of work with me.

00:30:07.000 –> 00:30:20.000
It has my powerful presence course and again, any questions that come up There’s a contact form there, or you can DM me on Instagram, and just ask, you know, Hey, how does this work? I Have some questions.

00:30:20.000 –> 00:30:27.000
And we can hop on a discovery call, and I can answer those for you.

00:30:27.000 –> 00:30:41.000
You know I I just I it was just published in tiny Buddha and a woman I’ve actually had 2 women reach out to me just from that article to say, Hey, how does this work?

00:30:41.000 –> 00:30:45.000
So we’re having a conversation you know it’s it’s just going to

00:30:45.000 –> 00:30:55.000
Those those channels and reach out because i’m here to answer any questions that that you listeners have.

00:30:55.000 –> 00:31:05.000
And thank you so much, and that really is great. And again, remember, remember to check out Nikól_Rogers

00:31:05.000 –> 00:31:14.000
on Instagram, and that will be in the show notes as well, and NikólRogers.com.

00:31:14.000 –> 00:31:23.000
That you can check out all of what Nikól has, that you can be really seeing how you move forward from here.

00:31:23.000 –> 00:31:36.000
And so remember that when you are out there you need to have that clarity of purpose right when you are really going in a position of being of help and not of sale. right?

00:31:36.000 –> 00:31:53.000
Everybody needs the money. but if you’re leading with help people, see that you’re truly, and being their advisor and their helper instead of somebody who’s just in it for a transactional purpose, and So it is super important

00:31:53.000 –> 00:32:09.000
just to remember that when you are doesn’t matter if you’re on a stage, or if you’re on a zoom call with one person or a phone call with one person you’re audience is still that one person, or 47th

00:32:09.000 –> 00:32:23.000
other people in a huge stadium it really doesn’t matter or if you’re talking to millions on television, So So it’s really equally as important when you’re thinking about who it is that you’re trying to

00:32:23.000 –> 00:32:28.000
help. And so, Nikól once again, Thank you so much for being my guest today.

00:32:28.000 –> 00:32:37.000
I am sure people got so much out of it, and again check out Nikól Rogers dot com, so you can get started. 1,000 things to you again for being here and for you listening. And on that note This has been another episode of
